‘Paid in Full’
How it Happened
1. February 2010: a fundraising campaign began to raise a down payment. 2. March 2010: Down payment paid. 3. Nov. 2010: 8 rai of the 12 rai parcel were purchased. 4. August 2011: Final 4 rai of land paid for! (12 rai is equal to approx. 4 3/4 acres)
No matter how you say these words, or in what ever language you use, they are music to ones ears. In 18 short months all of the funds necessary to purchase the land for the Village were raised!
Where do we go from here?
We have already begun to raise the $16,000 needed to build the first home.
