Does time really fly?  It would seem like it does!  In the Spring of 2005,  after meeting Nuu, Nuu Rain was birthed in our hearts.  Upon our return to Canada from Thailand, we started the long process to organize and register as a Registered Canadian Charity.  On August 1, 2010 we will celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the opening of Baan Nuu Rain in Chiang mai, Thailand.  Originally we called the home ‘The House of Hope’ but our ladies soon had changed the name to Baan Nuu Rain……..Nuu Rain House (House Nuu Rain is the word order in Thai).

 

Although there have been many obstacles along the way, it has been an awesome journey.  There have been many tears, but a greater abundance of laughter has softened them.  The ladies of Nuu Rain do not dwell on the past, but have an excited hope for what lies ahead in their futures……….
