The women of Nuu Rain/Baan Nuu Rain, in Chiang mai, Thailand come from many various backgrounds.  In spite of this fact, they all have come to the same place……….rejection!  Each and every one of them was rejected by family, friends and villages because of the deadly HIV virus.  They are women who ended up with no family, friends, jobs, food or shelter.  But they found hope in that there were people who cared, people who went out of their way to show them love and charity.  Today, although many of them struggle with health issues, they are no longer unloved and have started on the road to reestablishing their lives.  After working with these women for the past 5 years, I know how grateful they are to all those who have helped support them in their struggles.
